Traffic/Motor Vehicle Violations

Do I need an attorney for a traffic violation?

YES. Almost all violations of the traffic code have adverse consequences. These include, but are not limited to, license points, insurance points, suspension of driving privileges, fines and even imprisonment. Even if you are guilty of the offense charged, an attorney will generally know how to have the punishment mitigated or other resolutions that are advantageous to you. As a general rule, the attorney's fee for handling the case will be substantially less than what the attorney can save you in increased insurance premium alone. Also, your appearance in court can be waived by a lawyer in many traffic offenses, thus saving you lost time and earnings.

THERE IS NO CONSULTATION FEE.
